Footnotes
VEGAS BURNER set the pace with WESTERN POWER to the outside, cleared that rival past the five-sixteenths pole, given his cue entering the lane and started to widen, asked once right handed with a furlong remaining and was geared down late. MR. LEASURE chased under coaxing up the backstretch, took the turn two wide, tipped three wide in upper stretch and bested the rest. ELIGIO tracked the pacesetter from outside, rounded the bend in the three path and got outkicked for second. INSTINCT D' ORO stalked the pace from inside, roused into the lane and weakened. WESTERN POWER prompted the pace from outside to the five-sixteenths pole, could not keep up with the winner nearing the quarter pole and weakened in the stretch run. STREET TALKER was a bit rank while taking a bump from inside early, gained four deep on the turn but flattened out in the lane. SUPREME COAST came out to bump STREET TALKER early, climbed a bit up the backstretch, trailed two wide into the turn, moved out and exited the bend four wide and failed to menace.
