SHADY APPEAL dueled outside NO MORE DING DONGS up the backstretch and around the turn, put a head in front in upper stretch, battled into the last sixteenth holding a slim advantage and held over the late charge from YA'LL COME at the wire. YA'LL COME threw his head and hopped at the start, moved into range up the backstretch, chased two wide around the bend, rallied three deep in the final sixteenth and just missed. NO MORE DING DONGS took a narrow lead dueling inside SHADY APPEAL, lost command in upper stretch, battled back to the sixteenth pole, then yielded to the top pair late. THREE GEORGES broke well, stalked the dueling leaders from outside, took the turn three wide and could not summon the needed response. BID ON THE PRIZE chased under urging from off the pace, saved ground to the stretch, moved off the fence in the lane and failed to threaten.
