JIMMY WINKFIELD was off slow to begin, chased from off the pace, raced outside a rival into the turn, waited around the bend then was roused at the quarter pole, spun three wide off the turn, angled out to unleash a rally, rallied four deep into deep stretch and edged clear in the final strides. ROYAL RUMOR vied three deep up the backstretch, fought between rivals in the three path on the turn, shifted in and bumped a rival while putting a head in front in upper stretch, drifted in while battling in the final furlong and got outkicked by the winner. THROWIN HEAT raced up close outside several rivals, bid four deep on the turn, fought between runners in deep stretch and was outgamed by the top pair. DEBBIES GETTINGHOT vied between rivals up the backstretch and around the turn, took over at the quarter pole, lost command when getting bumped by ROYAL RUMOR in upper stretch, fought on to the sixteenth pole and flattened late. BELLO ROSSO was off a bit slow to begin, trailed on the inside into the turn, eased over to the three path around the turn, steered out and passed tired rivals into the stretch and showed late effort in the furlong grounds. VAN GOGH STYLE was off slow to begin, tracked from inside out of range, lacked room and altered out into the lane, chased between at the eighth pole and failed to rally. SAGUNTO vied inside a pair of rivals holding a slim advantage, lost command around the turn, fought to the eight pole and weakened along the fence. JOHNLINO stalked off the rail then angled to the inside, saved ground to the lane, moved off the fence and weakened in the drive. FRANCESCONI stalked between rivals, drifted out and bumped SUNSET RIDE twice on the turn, lugged out into the lane and faded. SUNSET RIDE chased between runners well off the rail, went three wide into the turn, got bumped twice by FRANCESCONI midway around the bend then was forced out into the lane and could not recover from the trouble run through the turn.
