Footnotes
ALIX took contact leaving the gate, reserved from inside in the early going, went between rivals at the quarter pole, angled out in upper stretch, rallied steadily through the lane and inhaled the runner-up late. DAD'S BAD BUNNY vied three deep then dueled from outside leaving the backstretch, kicked clear on the turn, remained well clear into the final sixteenth and got run down by the winner. MISS HOT AND COLD forwardly placed from outside, chased three to four wide on the turn, kept on down the lane and closed the gap late. CAN YOU DREAM chased from off the pace, saved ground through the turn, steered out in the lane and produced a mild rally to round out the superfecta. CONQUEST SUE vied for the lead from inside then chased after the top pair leaving the backstretch, eased over to the three path around the turn and flattened out in the furlong grounds. MAGUITE lacked early speed, trailed two wide into the turn, angled out and came six wide into the lane, steered out further and finished with a belated rally from the middle of the track. ANYA climbed along early and dropped off the pace, stayed out wide up the backstretch, entered the lane five wide and failed to menace. MANHATTAN BEAUTY tracked in range from off the rail, ran up behind MISS HOT AND COLD and clipped heels approaching the five-sixteenths pole, was able to recover and chased three deep into the stretch but had little left for the drive. PANTAGES had to steady when ANNIE OAK LEE crossed in front early, was ridden along three deep from off the pace, got crowded between runners at the quarter pole, went three wide into the lane and was ridden out to the wire. ANNIE OAK LEE vied between rivals early then dueled from inside leaving the backstretch, yielded to outer rival midway around the bend, chased along the rail into the stretch and tired. OMFORTHEHOLIDAYS bumped inner rival in the beginning, saved ground from well off the pace and was never a factor. KITTY MARREN chased from off the pace off the inside then between rivals, lost positions around the turn, came four wide into the stretch and could not get involved. THERE WAS AN INQUIRY INVOLVING MISS HOT AND COLD AND MANHATTAN BEAUTY ON THE TURN. THE STEWARDS UNANIMOUSLY RULED THAT MANHATTAN CAUSED HER OWN PROBLEMS BY STEPPING OUT INTO THE HEELS OF MISS HOT AND COLD AND THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
