CANDY BAR tracked in the two path or between rivals, chased three deep at the five-sixteenths pole, bid from outside late on the far turn, moved clear at the top of the stretch and held well over the runner-up. CAMERON SLOUGH trailed in the two path early, gained four deep around the far turn, took aim at the winner in upper stretch, chased determinedly through the lane but had to settle for second best. DEA MATRONA (FR) bobbled slightly leaving the gate, raced up close in the two path outside the leader, came under a ride on the far turn, got bumped by FREE AND HUMBLE at the quarter pole and chased evenly in the lane for third. SHE'S SPLENDID settled along the rail, went between runners at the quarter pole and failed to rally in the drive. LADY RIDER followed in range three deep to the stretch and weakened. MOONLIT COURAGE grabbed the early lead and moved inside, challenged by the winner approaching the stretch, offered little resistance and gave way in the final furlong. FREE AND HUMBLE well positioned on the inside behind the pacesetter, bumped DEA MATRONA (FR) and checked at the quarter pole and could not recover from the trouble.
