DEEP BLUE broke a step slow and lagged behind up the backstretch, gained three then four wide around the bend, tipped wider at the top of the lane, rallied into second with a furlong remaining and reeled in the runner-up late. PREEM vied for the lead inside a pair of rivals, inched ahead on the turn, moved clear at the top of the stretch, continued unchallenged into the final sixteenth but got run down lane. CLOUDY WOMEN stalked outside a rival, got shuffled back a bit behind a weakening VIOLENCES OHR on the turn and shifted out to the three path, angled out in the lane, chased between rivals in upper stretch and was along for the show honors. WALK'N THE BEACH stalked from inside, followed behind the leader through the turn and lacked a bid when called upon. COOLING OFF chased from inside then angled off the rail in the early going, traveled four wide around the bend, took aim three wide into the stretch but flattened out in the final furlong. PRETTY CECY chased from off the pace, drew closer along the rail on the turn while falling back to last, passed a tired rival entering the lane, lacked room next the fence in upper stretch and could not threaten in the late stages. SPARKLE SWEETLY vied three deep to the five-sixteenths pole, fought outside the leader with a quarter mile remaining, then faded in the stretch. VIOLENCES OHR vied between runners to the turn, yielded midway around the bend and tired.
