COURTSIDE ACTION stalked from inside, bid from outside past the five-sixteenths pole, cleared SHADY GEM turning home, opened up shortly after, asked right handed at the eighth pole, widened through the final furlong under urging and was in hand approaching the wire. CHARMZ AWAY traveled near the back in the early going, lost the crop approaching the quarter pole while in the two path, angled to the rail in upper stretch and finished well to best the rest. DANE THE GREAT chased two wide into the turn, angled four wide around the bend, could not summon the needed rally but was able to hold for the show money. SUNK COST FALLACY trailed next to the fence into the turn, angled out past the quarter pole, spun four wide into the lane and passed tired rivals. TROJAN MAFIA traveled in mid-pack outside rivals up the backstretch, went four wide into the turn, exited the bend in the five path and weakened down the lane. SHADY GEM sped clear and set the tone in the opening stages, raced along the rail into the turn, challenged by the winner outside the quarter pole, yielded turning for home and folded in the lane. READYTOBOARD broke a step slow, tracked along the inside out of striking distance to the turn, hugged the rail to the stretch and came up empty. COLONEL SLADE stalked in the two path leaving the backstretch, shifted over to the three path around the turn and tired down the lane.
