KINTRIGUE dueled from inside into the first turn, led inside a pair of rivals around the bend, lost command into the backstretch, pressed the leader then headed that rival near the seven-sixteenths pole, cleared around the far turn, challenged by SPECIALTY into the lane, lost command outside the eighth pole, fought back in deep stretch and edged the runner-up. SPECIALTY tracked from inside, came under a ride on the far turn, tipped two wide at the quarter pole, drew alongside KINTRIGUE approaching the stretch, took over into the furlong grounds, dueled in the late stages and was edged by the winner. JUSTIVAR settled three then two wide around the first turn, angled in on the backstretch, advanced along the fence around the far turn, steered out in the lane and finished willingly behind the top pair to the wire. SUGAR REIGN was reluctant to load behind the gate, tracked from inside, hugged the rail to the stretch, rallied in the lane but was not enough to threaten the top trio. SPRINGLINE laid off the pace on the inside, coaxed along leaving the backstretch, found traffic on the far turn, went two wide into the lane, angled out and offered a mild rally. EGYPTIAN MISTRESS stalked between rivals in the two path, asked around the far turn still two wide but could not respond. TIPITAP dueled from outside then between runners on the first turn, took a stalking position on the backstretch, got floated out by WINIKA and checked on the far turn and had little left for the stretch run. GLOBAL CONSORT forwardly placed three deep early, chased out of range on the backstretch, went three then two wide around the far turn and faded. WINIKA showed early foot four then three deep around the clubhouse turn, carried a short lead over KINTRIGUE up the backstretch, started to weaken while drifting out a bit on the far turn, then tired in the stretch run.
