SURFIN THE COAST vied between rivals up the backstretch, dueled outside I'M NO SWIFTY around the ben, took the lead in upper stretch and inched ahead from the runner-up late. I'M NO SWIFTY fought for the lead inside rivals in the opening stages, dueled holding a short lead over SURFIN THE COAST on the turn, lost command in upper stretch, stayed with the winner into deep stretch and finished a clear second. DANCING WITH SHARI bobbled slightly at the start, raced well off the rail in the early going, went four wide into the turn, split foes in the two path at the five-sixteenths pole, cut inside leaving the bend and was along for the show honors. GRAPE JUICE TOO fought four then three deep up the backstretch and turn, could not keep up with the top pair midway around the bend and weakened down the lane. VEGAS NIGHTCLUB tossed her head and broke a length slow, chased from inside then two wide late on the bend and weakened in the drive. SALLY SAYS showed early speed three deep between rivals then chased up the backstretch, went three wide around the bend and weakened down the lane. SHE SPENDSALOT was off slow to start, chased from off the pace, saved ground to the stretch and came up empty in the stretch. SUSAN YVONNE raced near the back of the pack in the early going, traveled three wide on the turn and passed tired rivals. HEAVENLY DAREDEVIL traveled in mid-pack well off the rail, went four wide into the turn, angled down the two path and tired in the lane. BACKSTAGE DRAMA broke well then dropped back to last, saved ground through the turn and was never a factor.
