Footnotes
INCANTO (IRE) raced up close outside the top pair, chased in the two path on the turn, tipped back out to launch a bid three deep, took over at the eighth pole, cleared midstretch and held safely over the runner-up. SUNSET GRAZEN broke a step slow, tracked outside a rival up the backstretch and around the turn, angled out in the lane, finished well to gain second and was gaining on the winner to the wire. KIMMER settled in the early going on the inside, rallied up the rail and got edged for second. DOUBLE JAB trailed in the early going on the inside, stayed on the fence through the turn, moved out in the lane and kept on between rivals. CONCORD BRIDGE pressed from inside then dueled up the backstretch, fought along the rail through the turn, stayed on to midstretch then weakened in the last sixteenth. TRAVELIN' SHOW threw his head at the start and lost a step, followed in range outside a rival, remained two wide to the stretch and could not produce a bid. VANCOUGAR stepped to the front with rivals on both sides then dueled with CONCORD BRIDGE, maintained a short lead through the turn, inched ahead leaving the bend, lost command with a furlong remaining and weakened.
