QUICK KATE raced up close four deep, crept closer outside rivals around the turn, challenged CLUBHOUSE BRIDE exiting the bend, seized control at the eighth pole, kicked clear midstretch and won going away. CLUBHOUSE BRIDE vied for the lead inside a pair of rivals, moved clear past the three-eighths pole, challenged by QUICK KATE turning for home, lost command at the eighth pole and stayed on to secure second. SYNTAX fought for the lead three deep, chased after CLUBHOUSE BRIDE three then two wide past the three-eighths pole, kept trying down the lane but was unable to get by CLUBHOUSE BRIDE for second. TIGER OF THE SEA chased five deep up the backstretch, remained widest through the turn and finished evenly late. SMILE BABY SMILE vied between rivals to the turn, could not keep up with CLUBHOUSE BRIDE and chased two wide then a bit off the rail around the bend and weakened in the stretch run.
