CLEVER CLOVER pressed from outside then three deep leaving the backstretch, fought on even terms through the bend, put a head in front past the sixteenth pole and lasted over the late bid from DIRTY WORDS at the wire. DIRTY WORDS stalked four wide into the turn, chased three deep around the bend, launched a late bid outside the top pair but got denied. HOT CHICKS ONLY led inside CLEVER CLOVER then between foes into the turn, maintained command around the bend, resisted to the sixteenth pole, then yielded grudgingly to the top pair late. CHASIN MUNNY settled well off the rail, exited the backstretch in the five path, chased four deep around the turn, finished willingly to gained ground late but could not summon the needed late punch. BLUEGRASS GO GO got crowded a bit between rivals in the beginning, moved up close from inside then challenged at the seven-sixteenths pole, fought with outer pair through the turn, stayed on to the eighth pole, then flattened out in deep stretch. RUNKERRY followed in range outside a rival then between foes and could not produce a bid when called upon. CAROL'S COMIC got shuffled back in the beginning, coaxed into range up the backstretch, hugged the rail around the bend, moved out at the eighth pole and weakened. LOVE CANDY trailed out wide in the early going, went four wide into the turn, angled down to the two path and was never a factor.
