B GRAYSON dropped back under coaxing early, picked up stride in the three path on the turn, came four wide into the lane, reeled in the leaders in upper stretch, cleared midstretch and kicked away under hand urging. MUTT DILLIN showed the way early with DESERT KAT to the outside, inched clear at the half-mile pole, pressured again by DESERT KAT around the bend, put that rival away in upper stretch but was immediately confronted by B GRAYSON, offered little resistance to that rival midstretch and stayed on to hold second. TIGER STRENGTH chased under coaxing while out of range of the top pair, saved ground through the turn and churned on to earn the show honors. DESERT KAT pressed the pace from outside, lost touch with the leader past the half-mile pole but remained close to the outside, reengaged on the turn, could not kick on with the top pair into the final furlong and weakened. PRECISION (GB) stumbled leaving the gate, trailed far back early, went three wide into the turn, raced two wide into the lane and never got involved after a troubled beginning.
