MADDIE TEE was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, latched onto the leader at the three-eighths pole, battled through the turn and down the lane, dug in late and edged the runner-up. POSITIVE TIMES sprinted clear and moved inside, took pressure at the three-eighths pole, battled head to head into deep stretch and yielded grudgingly to the winner. PROUD RACER chased between rivals into the turn, rounded the bend in the two path, moved out in the lane, came with a late run but ran out of ground. BIG NOTION unhurried in the early going, saved ground through the turn, moved off the rail in upper stretch and finished willingly to earn a minor placing. TAKE ANOTHER SWING stalked the leader along the rail, asked midway around the bend, cut the corner into the lane and flattened out. GILCHRIST trailed on the inside and passed tired rivals in the stretch. HE'S GOT FIRE followed in range outside a pair of rivals, drew closer approaching the turn, asked three wide around the bend and weakened. SMILING DON was off a bit slow to begin, chased four deep into the turn, remained wide into the lane and faded.
