THE LAST STRAW dueled inside COMEDY TOWN up the backstretch and around the turn, battled into deep stretch holding slim advantage and gamely prevailed. COMEDY TOWN held a short lead dueling outside THE LAST STRAW up the backstretch, lost command while fighting head to head through the turn, battled through the lane and came up just short in a tough loss. PRIVATE GEM stalked the top pair outside a rival, took aim three wide turning for home but could not summon the needed late kick. MO KOKO broke a step slow, went up to be forwardly placed from inside, stayed on the fence to the stretch and lacked late punch in the final furlong. ZEUS' WAR got bumped and checked when put in tight early, chased outside a pair of rivals, went three wide around the bend and weakened. TAPALO got crowded and took up early, trailed off the rail then angled in for the turn, moved off the fence at the top of the lane and was never a factor. CURLIN'S KAOS bumped with ZEUS' WAR early, settled off the pace, raced in the five path into the turn, angled to the three path round the bend and was never a factor. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INVOLVING SEVERAL RUNNERS EARLY IN THE RACE. FOLLOWING A REVIEW, THE STEWARDS UNANIMOUSLY RULED THAT THE VIDEO WAS INCONCLUSIVE AND THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
