BOSS SULLY sprinted to the front and showed the way outside VLAHOS, cleared that rival past the half-mile pole, led along the rail through the turn, remained unchallenged around the bend, given his cue at the top of the lane, responded by inching away from a pair of rivals into deep stretch, then held safely over the runner-up. UNCONQUERABLE KEEN (IRE) settled between rivals then moved inside, saved ground through the turn, angled out in upper stretch, chased three deep into the last sixteenth and gained second. ARTISLAS traveled near the back outside a rival, steadied between rivals when crowded at the five-sixteenths pole, angled to the rail, was on the move from the fence before angling out into deep stretch and got up for third. SORRENTO SKY (IRE) tracked from inside, moved into range leaving the backstretch, saved ground to the lane, took aim at BOSS SULLY in upper stretch but flattened in the late stages. VIRAT bobbled leaving the gate, followed in range off the rail then outside a rival, navigated the turn three wide, was closest in pursuit turning for home, loomed from outside with a furlong remaining but faltered in deep stretch. ZIO JO unhurried in the opening stages, traveled along the rail into the turn then moved to the two path, steered out at the top of the stretch, kept trying through the final furlong but needed to find more. CHARGE FOR GOLD reserved early on then pulled the rider along past the five-eighths pole, trailed on the inside then moved to the two path on the turn, angled widest in upper stretch and improved position. FRIENDLY CONFINES got crowded shortly shortly after the start, ran up on heels early, picked up stride in the three path on the turn, moved out but had to steady behind BARTHOLDY in upper stretch and could not threaten in the final furlong. BARTHOLDY coaxed along in mid-pack early on, rounded the bend three then two wide, moved out in upper stretch and weakened. VLAHOS pressed BOSS BULLY from inside to the half-mile pole then chased after that rival to the turn, lost positions between rivals leaving the bend and faded in the lane.
