Footnotes
PACER tracked along the inside from off the pace, raced inside a rival at the back early on the turn, went two wide into the lane, rallied between the leaders midstretch and proved best late. KIKI RIDE cleared quickly and crossed over to the inside then lost command but pressed the leader up the backstretch, fought head to head through the turn, inched ahead in upper stretch, held a short lead over PACER into the last sixteenth and could not fend off the winner. TESS OF HEMET lacked room behind KIKI RIDE early, followed in range two then three wide, bid in upper stretch but could not find the needed late kick. TEXAS WILDCAT bumped SUBIC BOY at the start, followed closely from off the rail, took the turn three then four wide, bid five deep in the final furlong but lacked late punch. SUBIC BOY took a bump at the start, chased briefly then took control outside KIKI RIDE early and showed the way up the backstretch, dueled on even terms with that rival around the bend, lost command at the top of the lane and weakened in the late stages. HEAVENLY MATCH trailed off the rail in the early going, raced outside a rival on the turn, came three wide into the stretch and failed to make an impact. READYTOBOARD stalked four wide leaving the backstretch, came five wide into the lane and faded out of contention.
