WESTERN AVENUE showed the way inside DISTANT FLEET early, up that rival away around the bend, roused at the top of the stretch, drew away under right handed urging and remained clear under steady handling late. NOVINOPHOBIA raced in range range to the turn, chased along the fence around the bend, moved off the fence in upper stretch and edged TROTSKY for the place honors. TROTSKY stalked in the two path, tipped three past the quarter pole, could not make any headway on the winner in the final furlong and got outkicked for second. DISTANT FLEET broke out, raced outside the leader to the turn, could not keep up and chased two wide around the bend and weakened in the drive. THE KEY IS UNITY chased the speed from off the rail, traveled three deep then four wide around the turn, came in upper stretch and weakened. MONGOLIAN MASTER dropped back early, trailed along the inside and never made an impact.
