TIS SUNRISE settled four then three deep on the first turn, raced outside a rival in the middle stages, rounded the far turn two then three wide, tipped out at the top of the lane, rallied four deep into the last sixteenth, fought three deep into the final strides and got up at the wire. JACKLYN LUCAS raced up close in the two path, applied pressure to the leader on the backstretch, ridden along to keep up on the far turn, put a head in front past the eighth pole, put FIRST LIGHT away at the sixteenth pole, fought with outer pair late and got nailed on the line. ALL IN THE GAME moved inside traveling near the back, tipped two wide approaching the quarter pole, moved into range in upper stretch, bid three deep with a sixteenth remaining and missed between rivals at the wire. FIRST LIGHT grabbed the lead and angled to the inside, took pressure on the backstretch, maintained command over JACKLYN LUCAS around the far turn, clung to a narrow advantage at the eighth pole, relinquished the lead shortly after crossing that pole and weakened in the last sixteenth. JUDY LYNN STARR tracked in hand from the two path early on, driven three wide into the lane and flattened out. BIG MISS unhurried three then two wide around the clubhouse turn, remained two wide to the second bend, eased over to the three path then came back in a bit leaving the bend, moved out int he drive and could not make an impact. UNUSUAL CRAVING broke in and brushed MELBA MONTGOMERY, tucked inside at the back, angled out into the lane and passed tired rivals. MELBA MONTGOMERY broke a step slow while getting brushed by UNUSUAL CRAVING in the beginning, took a stalking position on the inside, asked right handed into the lane and weakened. GENUINE GRACE traveled in mid-pack along the fence, hugged the rail to the stretch and weakened.
