Footnotes
AHRENS sped clear and moved inside, showed the way unchallenged through the turn, kicked clear at the eighth pole and held safely through deep stretch. THIRTY TWO CHUNK was closest in pursuit to the outside of the pacesetter through the early going, took aim in the two path around the bend, lacked the needed late punch to get to the winner late but was was able to secure second. CRUISIN FOR CALI forwardly placed outside the top pair up the backstretch, chased three deep through the turn, finished willingly down the lane and got up to share the place honors. MAP ME SEXY lacked early speed and lagged behind early, stayed well off the rail, went four wide around the bend, came five wide into the stretch and offered a mild response to round out the superfecta. DAY AT THE TRACK chased out of range up the backstretch, ridden along while angling from the two path to the four path around the turn, pursued between runners in upper stretch and could not rally. JOKER WENT WILD stalked the pace from inside, saved ground around the bend and weakened. TWELFTH NIGHT followed in range outside a rival, got put in tight between runners at the three-eighths pole, tipped four wide into the clear and faded. NOBLE MINDED became a bit fractious in the gate, chased on the inside from off the pace, trailed past the five-sixteenths pole and tired.
