GOJE tracked three deep in the early going, bid outside the top pair late on the bend, lost contact with the leader in upper stretch, came back on in deep stretch and wore down the runner-up. COME ON OM was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, challenged the leader from outside at the three-eighths pole, headed LET IT BEGIN at the quarter pole, put that rival away in upper stretch, challenged by GOJE in the last sixteenth, resisted into the closing moments and got nailed at the wire. JANZ JOY stalked the top pair from inside and crept closer up the backstretch, saved ground through the turn, moved off the fence in the drive and got up for third. VOLCANOLOGIST bumped with JANZ JOY early, chased after the speed between rivals, rounded the bend in the two path, also moved out in upper stretch and got outfinished for the show honors. FORZA PALERMO traveled in mid-pack in the early going, raced along the rail then two wide on the turn, steered out into the stretch and failed to threaten. LAST CHANCE DARCY broke in and bumped COME ON OM, unhurried after and taken to the inside, moved out in the lane and could not rally. LET IT BEGIN stepped to the front from inside, took pressure early on the turn, headed at the quarter pole, lost the lead into the stretch and gave way. JUST MENDELSSOHN raced outside a rival near the back, tipped out at the top of the stretch and failed to make an impact. HOWMANYMORETIMES was off slow to begin, trailed on the inside into the turn, angled out and had one rival beat entered the lane four wide and failed to be a factor down the lane. MO CHEEKY was off a bit slow to start, coaxed along near the back early, went two to three wide around the turn, trailed into the lane and could not get involved.
