ORACLE OF PARADISE reserved along the inside in mid-pack early on, moved into range on the backstretch, chased two, three, then four wide on the far turn, challenged three deep with a furlong remaining and drove clear to prove best. FLASH OF LIGHTNING got bumped from outside at the start, raced in the two path towards the rear, trailed into the far turn, saved ground around the bend, angled out into the lane, rallied and got by BIG VENGEANCE for second. BIG VENGEANCE raced up close in the two path, applied pressure on the backstretch, dueled around the far turn, put a head in front in upper stretch but got outkicked by the top pair in the final sixteenth. DOING TIME trailed on the inside into the first turn then steered outside a pair of rivals, rounded the far turn three then four deep, swung seven wide into the stretch and kept on to earn a minor award. THROWTHEFIRSTPUNCH traveled keenly in hand early and took a stalking position on the inside, followed behind the leader around the far turn, lacked room from upper to midstretch and finished evenly once in the clear. PRACTICAL BLAME settled in the three path on the first turn, traveled outside a rival in the middle stages, asked two then three wide on the far turn, tipped out into the lane and lacked a rally. TIGHT DALLY unhurried in the early going and moved inside, drew closer around the far turn, tipped two wide into the lane and failed to respond when called upon. HUNGOVER bumped inner rival at the start, took a stalking position outside a pair of rivals, driven three wide into the lane and weakened. LUCKY SNIPER traveled keenly between rivals early, chased three wide into the far turn, spun five wide into the lane and weakened. OFF THE BENCH took control early and steered across to the rail, showed the way up the backstretch under pressure, dueled around the far turn, lost command in upper stretch and retreated along the fence. FARMER TOM raced in mid-pack four then three deep in the opening stages, kept on the rail to the far turn, went three wide around the bend and had little left for the drive.
