FREE CLOSER shook her head at the start and came away slow, steadied and altered out from behind a rival early, went five wide into the turn, gained ground while angling down to the inside, steered back out late on the bend, closed in from the center of the track and nailed THIRSTY CAITLIN at the wire. THIRSTY CAITLIN sprinted to the front then crossed over bothering a few rivals, showed the way along the rail and came under a ride late on the bend, remained clear into deep stretch, led into the final moments with FREE CLOSER bearing down and got caught on the line. SAUCED UP was prominent early then had to pause briefly when THIRSTY CAITLIN cut in front, chased between rivals into and around the turn from the two path, finished willingly down the lane and earned the show honors. I'M SMOKEN HOT was quickly early from inside but had to steady when THIRSTY CAITLIN came over early, stalked along the rail through the turn, also finished willingly through the lane and got outkicked for the third. POTICA tracked five deep leaving the backstretch, move into the four path on the turn and failed to respond when called upon. LIHUE PRINCESS gave chase three deep to the stretch and weakened. PAY ONE MORE DREAM followed in range four deep into the turn, angled in a few paths around the bend and weakened. GLORYS MORNING raced greenly and climbed in the early going, trailed four then three wide on the turn and was never a factor.
