START THE RIDE raced up close three deep, fought on even terms at the halfway mark, dueled outside KING'S RIDE into the stretch, fought head to head through the lane, took a bump in deep stretch, dug in and edged the runner-up. KING'S RIDE vied between rivals for command, took over at the five-sixteenths pole, put MAJESTIC PALISADES away and moved inside while dueling with START THE RIDE, battled down the lane, drifted out and bumped that rival in deep stretch and got outgamed in the end. COWBOY MIKE stalked from inside to the far turn, eased over to the two path, brushed with outer rival into the lane, put in a late bid but was not enough. THE GYPSY COWBOY settled two wide then moved inside, gained in the two path on the far turn, angled out in upper stretch and produced a mild rally to round out the superfecta. MAJESTIC PALISADES took a narrow lead over outer rivals early, lost command at the five-sixteenths pole, chased after the top pair past the quarter pole and weakened in the drive. SIR PERCIVAL showed early foot five deep into the first turn then dropped back to a stalking position and moved to the four path, rounded the far turn in the three path, brushed with inner rival turning for home and weakened. SPIRITUAL ADVISOR prominent four deep early then raced between rivals into the backstretch, dropped back two then three wide on the far turn and also weakened. J T'S WATCH threw his head and came away very slow, trailed on the inside then went outside a rival, had one beat up the backstretch, fell back to last again on the far turn and was never a factor.
