Footnotes
MATT AT FIVE broke well and took a short lead over a pair of rivals to the outside, cleared past the three-eighths pole, drew away when asked at the top of the lane, widened into the final sixteenth and was in hand late. STAY FOR THE BOOM tracked three deep early, moved into the two path midway around the bend, kept trying down the lane and bested rest. STRAIGHT BUZZIN pressed the pace from between, could not keep up with the leader and chased two wide past the three-eighths pole, could not rally down the lane but was able to save third. CHASE N RYAN chased two wide between between rivals, found the rail midway around the turn, moved back out in the lane and missed third. TOMMY NORRIS stalked the speed from inside, ridden along at the quarter pole and weakened through the lane. UECKER pressed three deep in the early going, chased after the winner three wide on the turn and faded in the stretch run.
