Footnotes
OLIVIA lacked early quickness then made progress from well off the rail up the backstretch, chased three to four wide on the turn, drew alongside the leader inside the eighth pole and drove clear in deep stretch. DRAGON KAT went to the front and set the tone up the backstretch, led along the inside around the bend, roused in upper stretch, challenged by OLIVIA with a furlong remaining, yielded to that rival at the sixteenth pole and held second. DARLIN' DUCHESS bumped with inner rival and dropped back when climbing early, angled to the inside, passed a couple runners on the turn, moved off the fence in the lane, showed late effort and earned the show honors. MANHATTAN BEAUTY bumped with DARLIN' DUCHESS early, chased two to three wide and flattened out in the lane. SONG AND DANCE traveled in mid-pack up the backstretch, took the turn two wide, moved to the rail in the stretch but needed to find more. BORACAY MISS broke out and bumped, chased between runners then off the rail, dropped back to last on the turn and passed tired rivals in the final furlong. WE SALUTE YOU bumped leaving the gate, was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, lost ground in the two path then next to the rail on the turn and tired. SALTY SISS traveled near the back early on, went four wide around the turn and could not make an impact.
