FIGHT BACK prominent early between rivals into the first then had to steady briefly when crowded early on the bend, raced up close in the two path, between rivals on the backstretch and far turn, tipped out at the top of the lane and challenged between foes, put a head in front midstretch, carried a short lead over rivals on both sides late and won the bob on the line. SILVER I AM vied between rivals early then pressed from outside up the backstretch, got on even terms with DESERT KAT midway around the far turn, grabbed the lead in upper stretch, was overtaken by FIGHT BACK midstretch, would not go away in the final sixteenth and lost the bob at the wire. REDIAL vied three deep then took a stalking position outside another pair of rivals, asked right handed approaching the quarter pole still in the three path, challenged widest in upper stretch, fought three deep in the late stages and was outgamed by the top pair. HONDO CROUCH stalked the dueling leaders from inside, coaxed along behind those foes while continuing to save ground on the second bend, stayed on the inside to the stretch and lacked a bid. DESERT KAT went to the front and cut over to the inside, led under pressure up the backstretch, headed midway around the far turn, lost command in upper stretch, stayed on for a furlong then weakened in the last sixteenth. WHAT A GIFT moved to the inside trailing the field, came off the rail on the backstretch, navigated the far turn two then three wide and came up empty in the lane.
