Footnotes
MEDJUGORJE followed closely from inside, tipped two wide into the lane to launch a bid, put a head in front at the eighth pole and edged clear in deep stretch. WOLF HILL was off alertly then bobbled sharply a few strides out of the gate, trailed in range from the two path, had to wait when boxed in on the far turn, shifted out into the lane, challenged four deep into the final furlong and got outkicked by the winner. DARING PURSUIT established the front and showed the way in the two path to the far turn, moved over to the rail around the bend, drifted out under left handed urging while being confronted by a trio of rivals, lost command at the eighth pole and flattened to third. APPLES Y PEACHES stalked to the outside of the leader on the first turn, bid three then two wide on the second bend, fought between in upper stretch but flattened late. BAD MANNERS stalked three to four wide around the clubhouse turn, chased widest through the second bend as well, then weakened in the lane while drifting to the inside.
