Footnotes
DECAPO showed the way with a pair of rivals tagging along up the backstretch, cleared midway around the turn, drew away under strong handling in upper stretch and was in hand late. STEAK FRIES chased from inside, came under a ride at the quarter pole, moved out in the lane and rallied for second. SCENE BY ME pressed between rivals in the early going, chased in the two path around the bend, remained closest in pursuit into the final furlong but was caught for the place. GOT'M COT'M lacked early speed and traveled inside DO IT FOR DAVE at the back, passed that rival on the turn and angled out into the lane, then picked off more weakened rivals in the stretch. BEE EYE GEE followed in range up the backstretch, lost ground on the turn while racing in the two path then along the rail and failed to respond down the lane. DO IT FOR DAVE came away cleanly but quickly dropped back, raced outside a rival early, trailed two to three wide on the turn and was never a factor. HARBOR CODE attended the pace outside the top pair, fell out of range three then two wide on the turn and tired in the lane.
