Footnotes
HACKING IT UP stepped to the front and controlled the pace on the inside, showed the way along the inside to the stretch, remained clear into the final furlong, challenged by AH JEEZ midstretch and was able to hold on. AH JEEZ tracked the speed outside a rival, chased three deep at the quarter pole, latched onto HACKING IT UP midstretch and got denied. KAWAZAKI (IRE) bumped with inner rival at the start, traveled along the inside in mid-pack around the clubhouse turn, drew closer up the backstretch while moving off the fence, went three to four wide around the second bend, kept trying down the lane and got by JIMMY BLUE JEANS to earn third. JIMMY BLUE JEANS was forwardly placed in the two path or outside a rival, ridden along on the second bend, chased within range to the sixteenth pole and flattened out to lose third. DON'T SWEAR DAVE followed in range from inside, lost ground around the far turn and weakened in the drive. PIONEER PRINCE raced up close from the rail position, followed behind the leader through the far turn, chased within range into the final furlong and weakened in the late stages. ONE OF THESE DAYS (IRE) settled outside a rival near the back of the pack, remained off the rail on the far turn, steered out into the lane and failed to menace. CAISSON got bumped and lost his path leaving the gate, trailed two wide into the first turn then three deep into the backstretch, rounded the far turn four to five wide and was never a factor. COOLWIND saved ground towards the rear, ridden along into the far turn, stayed on the fence to the stretch and failed to make an impact.
