NEWPORT DREAMZ stalked the leader outside a rival in the early going, challenged between foes leaving the backstretch, dueled from inside around the turn, battled with ANGELICA BAY (IRE) down the stretch and gamely prevailed. ANGELICA BAY (IRE) took light contact from LADY OF POWER chasing in the two path into the first turn, bid three deep into the far turn, dueled outside NEWPORT DREAMZ around the bend, fought head to head down the lane and finished gamely in defeat. MOTET stalked along the rail, got shuffled behind SPARKLE SWEETLY into the far turn, trailed to the stretch, angled out in the lane and gained third. LADY OF POWER raced keenly in hand along the inside into the first turn and brushed ANGELICA BAY (IRE), moved to the two path on the backstretch, remained two wide to the stretch, lacked then needed rally and got outkicked for third. SPARKLE SWEETLY set the pace along the rail in the early going, challenged by a pair of rivals leaving the backstretch and relinquished the lead, chased on the inside to the stretch and tired.
