BITTER TRUTH showed the way from inside, kicked away on the far turn under coaxing, continued clear into the final furlong, took an awkward step over the tracks past the sixteenth pole and held safely. BY THE MOONLIGHT chased in the two path around the first turn, was closest in pursuit to the top of the lane, drifted out a bit in upper stretch and held second. KITTY MAC hesitated and came away slow at the start, traveled along the inside then moved off the rail around the first turn, chased four wide early on the far turn, angled down to the two path and ran on for a clear third. DAME IT DANI pulled early while tossing her head, settled down on the backstretch, lost ground around the far turn and faded in the drive. SKY AT SUNRISE stumbled badly at the start, trailed four wide around the first turn, remained wide up the backstretch, angled in on the far turn and was never a factor. PALACE MISCHIEF chased three wide early, put in a mild bid three deep on the backstretch, dropped back on the far turn and tired in the lane.
