Footnotes
MIDWAY LANE cleared quickly and crossed over, dueled with BALLADEER early, inched ahead on the backstretch, fought with GHAZAALY around the far turn, lost command at the quarter pole, fought back to reclaim the lead midstretch and edged clear late. MAGNIFY stalked from inside, asked early on the far turn, angled outside the top pair at the quarter pole, challenged in upper stretch but had to settle for second best. GHAZAALY followed in range four, three then two wide early, bid three deep exiting the backstretch, put a head in front at the quarter pole, dueled into the final furlong, lost command midstretch and flattened to third. DEER DISTRICT went four wide into the first turn then angled in, trailed up the backstretch, chased three deep leaving the far turn and passed tired rivals. B GRAYSON raced off the pace in the two path, lost ground while finding the rail on the far turn and could not threaten down the lane. BALLADEER chased into the first turn then went up to duel from outside, kept the pressure on the leader up the backstretch, weakened around the far turn and tired. MR. DISRESPECTFUL threw his head and reared at the start, chased three to four wide around the clubhouse turn, moved forward from out wide on the backstretch, came five wide into the stretch, tired and was eased in the final furlong.
