EMPRESS MATILDA (GB) raced up close to the outside of the pacesetter, roused in the two path nearing the stretch, drew alongside PREEM past the eighth pole and edged clear. PREEM showed good early foot to take control, showed the way unchallenged around the turn, given her cue at the top of the lane, challenged by EMPRESS MATILDA (GB) past the eighth pole and got outkicked in the last sixteenth. LADY MARYANN settled outside rivals then got put in a bit tight at the nine-sixteenths pole, got bumped between rivals three deep early on the turn, moved to the two path, swung out into the stretch, came with a late run and earned the show honors. SOMEONE LIKE YOU stalked between runners, came under a ride past the five-sixteenths pole and lacked a rally down the lane. RICH OF JOY unhurried trailing the field in the opening stages, went two wide into the turn, moved to the rail then shifted back to the two path, split foes leaving the turn, swung out at the top of the lane and produced a mild rally. CLOUDY WOMEN chased three deep then moved into the two path going into the turn, remained two wide to the stretch and failed to rally. VRONAWAY stalked the speed from the rail, asked right handed late on the turn and weakened in the drive. SAARISELKA (GB) had to pause when CLOUDY WOMEN crossed in front early, moved up four deep on the backstretch, remained four wide through the turn and weakened. QUICK OMEN chased along the inside from off the pace, hugged the rail to the stretch, moved out a bit in the lane and weakened. PRETTY CECY tracked between rivals, got impeded by CLOUDY WOMEN into the turn and had to take up, bumped LADY MARYANN shortly after, moved to the rail and tired. KEEP THE PAVELS stalked the speed outside a pair of rivals, continued three wide through the turn and faded in the lane. BUSY MAKING MUNNY settled outside rivals early, got bumped four deep near the three-eighths pole, remained wide to the stretch and had little left for the drive.
