Footnotes
ALLEQUIN SUMMER was closest in pursuit from the two path through both turns, challenged from outside at the top of the lane, put a head in front at the eighth pole, drew clear from KNOWHERE at the sixteenth pole and edged away late. KNOWHERE took control early and set the pace on the inside, showed the way up the backstretch and far turn, confronted by ALLEQUIN SUMMER at the top of the lane, relinquished the lead at the eighth pole, could not keep up with the winner into the final furlong but was clearly second best. DREAMRIDER traveled at the back two then three wide on the clubhouse turn, followed those same paths on the far turn, angled out into the lane and produced a mild rally to get by PRIME ARTIST (FR) for third. PRIME ARTIST (FR) laid off the pace and steered to the inside, traveled in mid-pack up the backstretch, chased between runners at the quarter pole, could not summon the needed response in the lane and lost third. STERLING SEA reserved next to the fence in the opening stages, trailed into the far turn, had one beat turning for home and passed tired rivals in the lane. STAY FOR THE BOOM stalked the top pair from inside, hugged the rail around the far turn, asked right handed in the drive but weakened. MADDIE TEE tracked in the two path in the early going, came under a ride and moved into the three path on the far turn but weakened down the lane. DAY MAN reserved in the early going in the two path, went three wide into the far turn, moved in a path then traveled three wide into the lane and had little left for the drive. FORZA AZZURRI went three deep at the tail end into the first turn, moved out four deep around the bend, dropped back to last while widest on the second bend, moved down to the two path trailing into the lane and was never a factor.
