WILL HAPPEN dueled from inside up the backstretch, cleared past the three-eighths pole, hugged the rail to the lane, opened up in upper stretch, grew a bit weary late but held safely. FLAMINGO STAR followed closely from outside then off the rail, chased outside a rival into the turn, angled to the rail with a quarter mile remaining, finished well through the lane to gain second but could not reach the winner. QUEEN BAY bumped with FORUM CONFIDENTIAL and got crowded leaving the gate, tracked from off the rail then moved inside, advanced along the fence around the bend, tipped two wide into the lane and flattened out. FORUM CONFIDENTIAL bumped with QUEEN BAY at the start but was unaffected, went up to duel from outside, failed to match strides with WILL HAPPEN early on the turn, chased two then three wide to the stretch and tired.
