KENTUCKY GAL (IRE) tracked in the two path or outside a rival, asked three deep approaching the quarter pole, got floated out into the stretch, rallied widest and got up in time. INNOVATIVE stalked from the rail position, coaxed along on the far turn, asked for more at the quarter pole, tipped out into the lane, challenged in upper stretch, fought between rivals in the last sixteenth and missed. THE MIZEN QUEEN (IRE) took control early and moved inside, set the pace under pressure, from DREAMING OF ABBA, headed by that rival on the far turn, resisted into deep stretch, drifted out a bit and bumped RESOLVE and yielded grudgingly to the top pair. RESOLVE settled along the rail, continued to save ground through the far turn, cut the corner into the lane, took aim in upper stretch, rallied between rivals in deep stretch but got bumped by THE MIZEN QUEEN (IRE) and steadied late. HEY JESSIE broke a step slow and brushed with inner rival, unhurried after and angled to the inside, went outside a rival on the clubhouse turn, eased out to the four path around the final bend, shifted back to the three path coming into the lane, lacked room in upper stretch, altered to the inside and kept on to improve position. DREAMING OF ABBA prompted the pace three deep then outside the leader, fought on even terms on the far turn, stayed on to upper stretch, then lost touch with the leader past the eighth pole, got crowded with a sixteenth remaining but had already started to weaken. ULYSSES ROSE (IRE) forwardly placed in the early going while two wide, came under a ride on the far turn, got floated out and had to steady into the stretch, then failed to recover from the trouble. WATCHTOWER trailed the field on the inside to the stretch and passed a tired rival. CAILIN DANA reserved in the early going, steered to the two path then found the rail running first time through the stretch, patiently handled still next to the fence on the far turn, tipped out at the top of the lane and failed to respond when called upon. THE RIDER ABOARD RESOLVE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE MIZEN QUEEN (IRE) FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH. THE STEWARDS UNANIMOUSLY RULED THAT ALTHOUGH THE MIZEN QUEEN (IRE) DID DRIFTED OUT AND MAKE CONTACT WITH RESOLVE, THE INCIDENT DID NOT WARRANT A DISQUALIFICATION AND THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
