Footnotes
GETTINBY sped clear then took pressure from rivals on both sides, inched ahead past the half-mile pole, led along the rail through the turn, met the bid from CLOUSEAU at the top of the lane, cleared with a furlong remaining and remained strong to the wire. CLOUSEAU bumped leaving the gate, rushed up to challenged from inside, failed to keep up with the leader past the half-mile pole, chased along the rail then moved into the two path on the turn, confronted GETTINBY again at the top of the lane but got turned away in the furlong grounds. HEY BROTHER stalked between rivals, went two wide into the turn, found mild traffic when stuck behind SENDIT MO midway around the bend, angled to the inside, kept on down the lane and earned the show honors. TAPALO tracked well off the rail early, went three deep into the turn, continued three wide to the stretch and weakened. MEGA MOON broke a step slow then got bumped and forced in at the start, trailed off the rail then outside a rival, had one runner beat going into the stretch, then passed another tired rival in the lane. SENDIT MO threw his head then veered in and bumped at the start, rushed up from outside, chased three then two wide on the turn and tired. TOM SEAVER showed early foot from inside then got put in tight and steadied at the nine-sixteenths pole, raced inside a rival at the back into the turn, trailed around the bend and had little left for the stretch run.
