Footnotes
KING KAMEHA chased from inside to the stretch, drew alongside FUMANO'S FIRE at the eighth pole, put that rival away with a sixteenth remaining and drew off. FUMANO'S FIRE stepped to the front and showed the way along the rail into the turn, confronted by KING KAMEHA at the eighth pole, offered little resistance and yielded to the new leader at the sixteenth pole but was able to secure second. NET PAR stumbled in the hindquarters then broke in and bumped, chased from off the rail, asked three wide at the quarter pole and was no match for the top pair in the stretch run. SMOKE RIDER stalked widest of all in the early going, went five wide into the turn, angled in through the turn, chased two wide into the stretch, steered back out and improved position. POPPI'S CHARLIE got bumped and crowded in the beginning, rushed up between rivals, pursued in the two path around the bend and weakened in the drive. CUPID COWBOY tracked in range early, lost ground four, three, then two wide on the turn and lacked a rally. SCAM ALERT coaxed along the rail from off the pace, ridden next to the fence through the turn and failed to menace. TUDDY bobbled and got bumped on both sides leaving the gate, lagged behind early and could not make an impact.
