THE OLD NINE (IRE) raced up close on the inside, bid between rivals in upper stretch, took over midstretch and held off TIZ ALL THAT late. TIZ ALL THAT was off slow to begin, pulled hard early, saved ground through the turn, chased from off the fence in upper stretch, closed in but lacked room behind the top pair at the sixteenth pole, split foes and dug in late but ran out of ground. VALIANT SON stalked four deep early, bid outside at the seven-sixteenths pole, dueled around the turn, led into the stretch, showed the way into the final furlong but got outfinished in the late stages. PRIVATE GEM followed in range, got crowded past the half-mile pole, chased three then two wide on the turn, angled out into the stretch, summoned a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. MESCALERO settled along the fence, hugged the rail to the stretch, angled out in the lane and lacked the needed late kick. ROGUE LEGEND (GB) shook his head and broke slow, trailed up the backstretch and moved inside, passed a rival approaching the quarter pole, tipped out into the lane and improved position. GENERAL GRAHAM stalked two wide into the turn, asked around the bend and never responded. SEE THROUGH IT coaxed along from outside wide giving chase navigated the turn four then three wide and weakened. SHAMROCK GLITTER (FR) tracked between rivals, moved forward and eventually challenged the top pair from outside leaving the backstretch, fought three deep around the turn, four deep in upper stretch and weakened. GOLDEN ALE showed good early foot to take control, challenged late on the backstretch, fought with outer pair around the bend, lost command past the quarter pole, yielded in upper stretch and gave way. KING STEPHEN settled outside rivals, took the turn three to four wide and failed to menace. BROSKI (IRE) traveled three deep from off the pace then got crowded early, took the turn two wide, could not rally in the lane, pulled up on the backstretch and was transported off the track via equine ambulance.
