Footnotes
WEEKEND VIBES was off a bit slow to begin, settled off the pace, traveled three deep leaving the backstretch, got brushed at the three-eighths pole, chased outside LEASE INSTEAD at the quarter pole, was closest in pursuit with a furlong remaining, gained steadily into deep stretch, drew alongside HER NAMES CHARLIE in the final fifty yards and edged the runner-up. HER NAMES CHARLIE sprinted clear and crossed over, showed the way with a comfortable lead through the turn, remained clear into deep stretch, confronted by WEEKEND VIBEST late and could not hold on. LEASE INSTEAD was closest in pursuit in the two path leaving the backstretch, moved over to the rail late on the bend, weakened in the lane and but was able to secure third. MYSTIC AURORA chased from off the rail then between rivals, brushed by NYLIE at the three-eighths pole, got put in tight and had to pause at the five-sixteenths, spun three wide into the lane and failed to rally. NYLIE tracked the pace from inside, drifted and brushed MYSTIC AUROROA at the three-eighths pole, entered the lane a bit off the rail and weakened. RIDE LIKE THE WOLF was off a bit slow from outside, angled in trailing the field, asked right handed at the quarter pole and never got involved.
