TAHINI took control quickly, pressured by CAN'T SLEEP late on the turn, dueled in upper stretch, turned that rival away midstretch and drew away. CAN'T SLEEP raced up close to the outside of the leader, challenged with a quarter mile remaining, fought on even terms in upper stretch, got turned away by TAHINI past the eight pole and stayed on to hold second. KUWAITYA (IRE) stalked three deep into the turn, moved into the two path around the bend, chased within range to the eighth pole and failed to produce a bid. IMABOUTAGO (IRE) traveled outside a rival at the back not far out of range, trailed into the turn, went three wide into the lane and lacked the needed response. VISUALLY reserved in the early going, moved closer up the backstretch, went between rivals past the half-mile pole, took the turn two wide and failed to rally. YOUNG LOVE stalked the speed from the rail position, followed behind TAHINI around the bend, stayed on the fence in the lane and weakened. SCHILFLIED followed in range four deep leaving the backstretch, moved into the three path midway around the turn and weakened in the drive.
