HEROIC DOSE unhurried to begin and trailed to the backstretch, weaved through rivals to upper stretch, angled to the five path at the furlong grounds, mounted a strong rally to the final sixteenth, overtook the runner-up in deep stretch and won going away. DR. FILKINS broke alertly then took back, was well placed while saving ground along the backstretch, tipped to the three then four path to upper stretch, vied for the lead into the final furlong then took command approaching the final sixteenth, couldn't hold off the oncoming winner late and held safely for second. DOING TIME allowed to settle early, bothered a bit by a hard to handle rival into the first turn, advanced between foes along the backstretch, made a steady gain from the inside nearing the top of the lane, rallied between runners into the final furlong, was outkicked in the final sixteenth and held for third. GOING NOWHERE forwardly placed in the early running, stalked the decent pace to the half-mile marker, went up to vie for the lead into the far turn, battled into the lane and took a narrow lead into the final furlong, couldn't last to the final sixteenth and yielded late. DADDYS STAR was forwardly placed while outside of runners, tracked the decent pace three wide to the half-mile marker, chased into the far turn then fanned four wide to upper stretch, lacked the needed response into the final furlong and flattened out late. ROWDYBARFIGHT sent to take early command, set a decent pace to the half-mile marker, led to the quarter marker then met oncoming bids to upper stretch, couldn't find more in the drive and weakened in the final sixteenth. MONSIEUR BIG settled while saving ground to begin, was steered outside of rivals approaching the far turn and coaxed three to four wide nearing the quarter pole, swung to the five path to upper stretch and did not offer a late response. HAMMERBARN hopped at the start, was rank and hard to handle to the first turn, pulled while widest along the backstretch, coaxed four wide to the quarter marker, crowded a rival while erratic in the stretch drive and came up empty late. MIGUELITO settled mid-pack while outside of rivals, coaxed two wide and between runners into the far turn, was crowded by an erratic rival in the lane and did not factor in the late stages. QUALITY GOLD settled mid-pack, kept an inside path to the second turn, saved all of the ground to upper stretch then failed to threaten late.
