ATITLAN settled mid-pack, roused three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, bid to upper stretch then vied for the lead at the furlong pole, took command to the final sixteenth and drew away in the late stages. FLASHIEST settled off of the leading pair and was well placed to the backstretch, loomed three wide into the far turn then took command at the quarter pole, met the bid of ATITLAN nearing the furlong grounds, was no match late for the winner but held well for the place. MONDEGO (GB) settled while saving ground in the early running, got caught a bit in tight along the backstretch and steadied slightly at the five-furlong pole, kept an inside path to the far turn, tipped two wide to upper stretch, closed with good late interest along the fence into deep stretch and just missed for the place. ATOMIC AGE settled in mid-pack, saved ground to the backstretch run, was well placed into the far turn, navigated traffic at the quarter marker then angled out to upper stretch, couldn't sustain his run to the final sixteenth and flattened out. NITTI (IRE) unhurried while saving ground early on, moved three wide into the backstretch, asked four to five wide nearing the top of the lane, ran in pursuit while widest into the final furlong and needed more in deep stretch. TWIRLING POINT settled outside of an inner rival early on, coaxed two wide and between runners into the far turn, swung three to four wide to upper stretch, couldn't find the needed response while between foes into the lane and failed to threaten late. BALLADEER away in good order, vied for the early lead with SINSEL (BRZ), took command passing the wire for the first time then set a decent pace to the backstretch, led to the far turn then was overtaken nearing the quarter marker, couldn't find more in the lane and tired. SINSEL (BRZ) showed speed from the gate and took early command, was keen and hard to place and ceded the front to BALLADEER, stalked the pacesetter while still pulling on the rider into the backstretch, vied for the lead between runners into the far turn, stopped nearing the top of the stretch, was eased through the lane and walked off.
