STREET SWINDLER followed in range from inside into the turn, bid two wide past the quarter pole, took over while drifting inward and making light contact with SUTURA at the eighth pole, cleared into the final sixteenth and stayed strong to the wire. SUTURA away quickly to take control, showed the way under light pressure, cleared early on the turn, challenged by STREET SWINDLER past the quarter pole, lost command while brushing with that rival at the eighth pole and kept on to secure second. NOVITA DOMINGA sat off the pace, raced outside a rival leaving the backstretch, chased three deep at the quarter pole, angled out in the drive and got up for third. FIRST OR LAST raced up close outside the pacesetter to the turn, chased two then three wide around the bend, could not find the needed late kick and got edged for third. HAWAIIAN MOON traveled near the back off the inside, rounded the bend two then three wide and failed to threaten. MI FLECHA broke a bit slow, bumped with MAD PURSUIT and checked early, trailed on the inside into the turn, steered out in upper stretch and passed tired rivals. MAD PURSUIT bumped with MI FLECHA early, saved ground in mid-pack, brushed leaving the bend and failed to menace. PENNY THE JET stumbled crossing onto the dirt, rushed up outside the top pair, started to weaken around the bend and tired.
