TOPPERS AT SEASIDE took control while under pressure from outer rival, moved clear at the seven-sixteenths pole, drew away midway around the far turn, widened under left then right-handed urging in the drive and coasted the last sixteenth. BALLYHOOLIGAN tracked from the two path out of range, crept closer staying off the rail on the far turn, spun three wide into the lane and bested the rest. TAP AND GO prompted the pace from outside, could not kick on with the leader into the far turn, chased two wide into the lane, tried to hold second but was edged by BALLYHOOLIGAN for the place honors. HONOR THE CAT broke a step slow, trailed two wide early, angled well off the rail on the backstretch, advanced five wide around the far turn, came four wide stretch, drifted to the inside and kept on to earn a minor award. DJOSER ridden along early three deep from off the pace, asked four then three wide on the second bend and failed to threaten. AT THE POST laid off the pace on the inside, trailed on the far turn before passing LEAN MUSIC MACHINE, then picked off more tired rivals in the lane. CROSSRIGHTHANDS stalked in the four path on the clubhouse turn, remained wide up the backstretch, angled from the four path to the two path on the second bend and came up empty. SPRINGS broke a step slow, unhurried after and moved inside, tipped to the two path around the first turn, traveled between rivals on the backstretch, found the rail again on the far turn and tired. LEAN MUSIC MACHINE chased three wide early, fell out of range on the backstretch, dropped back on the far turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
