SCHOONER raced keenly along the inside into the first turn, shifted to the two path early on the bend then came back to the inside, gained around the far turn, shifted to the two path taking aim at the leader late on the bend, seized control outside the eighth pole and stayed strong to the wire. FEDERATION stalked three deep then got floated out to the four pat briefly early on the first turn, steered back in a few paths, ridden along two wide on the far turn, angled out for the stretch run, finished well from outside but had to settle for second best. ABSOLUTION settled next to the fence, saved ground from off the pace to the stretch, remained along the rail while finishing determinedly down the lane and edged BLIKSEM for third. BLIKSEM tracked two wide approaching the first turn then got floated to the three path briefly early on the clubhouse turn, angled down to the rail shortly after, stayed on the fence to the stretch, moved out in the lane and finished willingly but got outkicked for the show honors. ET AL came away alertly on the outside, went to the front while racing keenly in hand, crossed over to the rail, opened up a comfortable lead, held a diminishing advantage around the far turn, confronted by the winner at the top of the lane, relinquished the lead entering the final furlong and weakened late. HOAXER was off slow to begin, reserved in the two path in the early going, chased three wide around the far turn and finished evenly down the lane. DREAM SEEKER trailed on the inside then moved to the two path around the first turn, traveled outside a rival up the backstretch, asked two to three wide on the far turn and failed to menace.
