ANGEL'S EMBER stalked briefly then went up to apply pressure to the pacesetter from outside, took over dueling on the turn, kicked clear in upper stretch and was kept busy to the line. LOVE DOCTOR broke inward to lose a step, traveled outside a rival near the back, angled to the rail past the five-sixteenths pole, steered out in the lane showed late run and gained second. EMPIRE OF ASH raced up close outside rivals, chased three then two wide around the bend, finished evenly down the lane and got edged for second. HIGH HULL GILL cleared quickly and crossed over, took pressure from ANGEL'S EMBER up the backstretch, lost the lead dueling on the turn, yielded to the winner in upper stretch and weakened in the last sixteenth. D'S FOUR THUMBS UP broke a step slow, saved ground towards the rear,, came off the rail a bit in the stretch then angled out late and kept trying to the wire. MORNING GLASS had to pause when losing a clear path early, moved up after and followed behind the leader into the turn, put into chase mode around the bend, saved ground to the stretch and never found the needed response. OLYMPIAN THIRST turned his head and came away slow, trailed up the backstretch, went three wide into the turn, passed a rival moving while moving to the two path around the bend and was never a factor. SMOKEM THIRSTY tracked the leaders from off the rail, lost ground two then three wide through the turn and weakened in the drive. FULLY FAVORABLE broke inward, tracked from off the fence in the early going, drifted out on the turn, came four wide into the stretch and had little left for the stretch.
