CRYPTO RIDE was closest in pursuit two to three wide, stayed off the rail up the backstretch, took aim from between rivals turning for home, challenged at the top of the stretch, cleared midstretch and was kept busy to the wire. BIG JUANITO got bumped on both sides at the dispatch, angled into the three path for the first turn then moved over to the two path around the bend, came under a ride in the two path midway around the far turn, bid three deep at the top of the lane, could not match strides with the winner midstretch but stayed on to secure the place honors. KEEP MOVIN' ON broke in and bumped BIG JUANITO, settled three then two wide outside a rival at the back, angled to the rail leaving the backstretch, steered back out to the three path around the bend, tipped out at the top of the lane, showed late effort but could not get by BIG JUANITO for second. LOW EXPECTATIONS got bumped between rivals leaving the gate, settled in the two path then found the rail, moved forward into the backstretch, lightly coaxed following behind the leader through the far turn needing to an opening, got stuck behind that rival who was being passed in upper stretch, moved to a clear path midstretch, kept trying between rivals and earned a minor award. SPIRITIST sent for the lead, led from the two path then moved inside quickly, remained clear for six furlongs, challenged at the top of the stretch, relinquished the lead and flattened in the last sixteenth. SHORTMAN was off slow to begin, trailed on the inside, passed a rival on the far turn, continued next to the fence to the stretch, then moved off the rail and failed to menace. KIDDO LIGHT broke out and bumped, tracked four then three wide around the first turn, dropped back in the middle stages, faded around the far turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
