PARADISE LAKE traveled outside a rival near the back, gained two wide through the bend, tipped out at the top of the lane, drew alongside the leader with a furlong remaining, put a head in front at the sixteenth pole and maintained a short lead to the wire. CERTITUDE (FR) sprinted clear and moved inside, eased off the rail a bit on the first turn, continued clear along the rail around the far turn, challenged by PARADISE LAKE in the lane, lost command at the sixteenth pole and stayed on well for a clear second. KHINJANI (GB) traveled three deep into the first turn, quickly tucked inside, laid off the pace to the stretch and offered a mild response to best the others. SAKURA BLOSSOM tracked two wide to the far turn, lost ground around the far turn, churned on down the lane and missed third. CANDY BAR was closest in pursuit from inside, came under a ride on the second bend, moved out at the top of the lane and weakened. LITTLE HIDDEN PORT (ARG) settled off the pace on the inside, trailed up the backstretch, remained inside on the far turn, tipped out at the top of the lane, came back to the inside and was never a factor. HOPEFUL (GB) unhurried in the two path then found the rail, went outside a pair of rivals on the backstretch, came back to the two path on the far turn, tipped three wide into the lane and failed to menace.
